1st Interview update

So the first interview is done and it was a traumatic day for us all yesterday. They brought up finding images and that there is a credit card in my partners name. He’s never had a credit card and struggles with banking and has always needed assistance. None of the evidence they state to have seems to make any sense and my OH seems so lost and confused and is still maintaining his innocence that he’s never bought any images. He’s been told he may have to go to court and I feel like my world is ending. He’s mentioned feelings of suicide and my heart is breaking. I feel like all the wounds from the knock have opened all over again.
As I feared the OIC was very forceful in questioning him and were asking a lot of questions that started to confuse and upset my partner. He seems so traumatised from the experience and I can’t imagine how he’d cope with court. I feel utterly hopeless.
Side note - The OIC is coming round to give back his devices. I am confused because I thought if they have evidence they don’t return them?

I agree with you, they wouldn't give back a device if there was any evidence linked to it - my OH phone had been kept, as evidence even though the check came back clear!
