Does anyone know if there's ways to get the press to not be able to post photos?
Or even the NCA? I have a feeling the NCA will post about my person out of pure spite and I'm wondering how press get hold of images (mug shots for the lack of a better word)
I know we can't control the press putting things out but I'm worried having the image out will be a safety concern if he's out with me and the kids with the area we live in.

Hi EA, I'm not sure what NCA is but I would recommend coming off of social media so that the media can't find any photos on there. The media published my persons case after magistrates and crown court but they used a big picture of Snapchat rather than his photo as he has no social media accounts for them to take photos from.
Wishing you all the best.

My person had his photo taken at court which was then used several times.
The Police in England have a press office. They send the images and press release to the press and put it on social media once the case has been to court. If there isn't a court reporter there on the day, it still might end up on social media. That's what happened to be anyway. We aren't protected. My children were 12 and 14 at the time. Everyone knew their Dad. The Police posted his name, photo, crimes, age and our address where we still lived. It was horrendous. I was then threatened with eviction. You can't stop it from happening but you can come off all social media so you don't see the comments. If you have children of school age speak to school so they can nip anything in the bud straight away. The Police put the case on their socials about 6 weeks after sentencing. I wish I had better news for you. Sometimes it doesn't go in the media at all. X
