Register at police station
Notifications OFF
My OH has received his conviction notice and has to register at the police station with his details, including his bank details. He think he just phones them up to register but I think he actually has to go to the police station in person. It's not particularly clear. Seeing it in black and white is painful as he is not that person and now there is more restrictions added on.
He has to go in normally within 3 days I think it is not 100% certain we're nearly two years in so seems a distant memory
He has to go in within 3 days, the requirements of what he needs to give them are here:

If he does not do this within 3 days then he is in breach of the order which is very serious

Morning Dawn,
Not all police stations register so check before, he definitely has to go in person or he would be in breach of the orders, ( someone said if he writes all his details down then can hand over to the officer , bank details, passport, and I think his phone also but not 100% sure xx

He will be going in on Monday. The notice says from 22 July (when he was in court), but he didn't receive it until today, if they are going with the date on the document, it has gone past the 3 days before he has received it.
He will have to attend in person and only certain police stations can be used, we only recieved my sons paperwork in the post yesterday but we were told at court and by the solicitor on Wednesday that he must notify within 72 hours . Apart from basics they will require NI number , passport derails , bank cars/ credit cards, details of all email addresses and social media , any aliases and also car details
We were not told at court and his solicitor disappeared when he had to go back into court, so he never advised us further.
As previously said by others he must attend the station in person. It is quite an invasive experience as they will also take photographs of him and any distinguishing marks such as tattoos. Along with any banking information he also needs to declare vehicle details, passport, email addresses and any social media and gaming profiles. That said my husbands Visors have been quite personable, he checks in with them if he is unsure about anything. One thing to get clarity on is deleting from phones. My husband is not able to delete anything from his phone. They didn't make this clear initially and it could have caused a huge issue.
