Watching the news this morning and see that some rioters have already been placed on remand. I agree they are mindless thugs and need to be taken off the streets, yes into the prison system which is already bursting at the seams and many prisons struggling with self harm, violence and drugs before the riots.

To be in prison must be absolutely awful to begin with, but when you add everything above into the mix, do half the people in prison really need to be there. Rehabilitation?? In reality what is that??
