Hello eveyone we are 4 years in this hell situation.
Apparntly the officer left the department last year. Surely there must be an outcome at some point.
everyone on here seems to come and go with their outcomes and we are still here.

Oh my goodness 4 years is just horrendous. The 22 months we had to wait almost destroyed me so I can't imagine what it must be like for you.

I'm sorry I don't have anything helpful to say but I'm here for you if you need any support.

Oh you poor thing..... 4 years is AWFUL. We are 2.5 years and still waiting, and it will be minimum 6 more months. Hideous!
I can't help thinking all these recent arrests at riots aren't going to help things in terms of triage.
Hang in there.
I suppose the only positive is that the judge is more likely to think favourably if you have been waiting ages X

It's probably worth putting in a complaint to the Chief Constable, or the local PCC, maybe even your MP too. Things should not take that long.

It sounds like the case was just forgotten about, when the officer left and I'm sure there are others in a similar situation.

thank you all for the support.
I'll speak to my person about putting a complaint in.
I don't think they'll like it but it needs to be bought to a conclusion.

Ours was 4 years of hell but the advantage is that the judge gave a more leaniant setence of community order, no unpaid work because of it. Hope it gets sorted soon.

Ours was 3.5 years. It became a mitigating factor. Judge was very unhappy how long it took and reduced his sentence.

Really feeling for you xx
