We had a visitor from a female officer yesterday - SOR

To be fair she was lovely but yes it is she who can come as and when she wishes.

My son isn't phased, he's already made huge moves to stay out of unsafe sites, and keeps his pc unlocked. He offered this to rest my mind.

They are visiting because he is on the SOR. He may have an Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) as well.

So the visit is for a risk assessment, which does not automatically entitle them to check devices, unless there is an SHPO as well that contains restrictions on his internet use.

If there is an SHPO, then they will use the visit to check he is complying with the SHPO, as well as the conditions of the SOR.
