Has anyone been told to get cctv cameras and alarms if they want their partners to move back in? has anyone had any other silly requests asked of them? is it worth doing that type of invasive nonsense?

Hi,

Do you have children? On rare occasion they will allow your other half to come back home by asking you to place cameras in your home. I don't personally have children so I cant even imagine how difficult it must be to go through this with your children. Sending you lots of hugs. I know that it is invasive but at the same time it is good that they are willing to let your partner live with you if that is also what you want. In most cases, in fact around 90% time they don't. It takes years for them to say yes.

I would personally not recommend discussing it with them. They will think that you are siding with your other half and not seeing the danger. And they will deem you unfit to supervise your children. Remember, they see your other half as a danger to children. And they definitely want to see that you can understand what he is capable of and that you are capable of protecting your children.

A lot of this depends on the age & gender of your children and the nature of offences.

if your children are old enough to advocate for themselves, this would be excessive.

There are people who do this, I think Lee did this to help get her husband home.

sorry you're having to go through this

xx

Horrible - it should be a home, not a train station.

My husband is still being investigated for iioc.

SS are happy if he lives with us as long as I sleep with the kids in one room at night and he's not left unsupervised.

We have 3 very young children.

They didn't ask to put cameras up and if they do in future, I will refuse.
