Holiday question

Hi lovely ladies,
We had a holiday booked next week at a static caravan. We are now not able to go. It turns out that most caravan parks have it in their terms of conditions that anyone on SOR cannot stay at their premises. Of course they wouldn't know whether someone is on it or not but, the probation officer told my husband that if it is in their terms and conditions, staying there would be a violation so caravan holidays are no longer an option for the next 10 years. Pity because I really wanted to own a caravan too. Anyways, refusing to feel down over this. My question is, is there a list somewhere of places we can stay in the UK? Are hotels the same? Does anyone know? :)

I don't know your situation, whether you have children, if not could you look at adult only sites? Not all campsites have this in the terms and conditions, smaller sites may not (there was another lady on here that said the site they go to, doesn't have this so they could go there).
We have been told holiday cottages are generally okay dependant on the location. Hotels would be dependant on both the terms and whether it was a hotel heavily uses/aimed at families with children.
I also think a lot of the decisions on where is suitable is at the PO and police discretion which means that what might be considered okay by one, it might not be for another.
We have a Air B n B booked, PO and VISOR were fine.
