How long where ex partners under investigation for I know I can vary But curious?
Has any one been though family court? If you have what was the outcome I am praying for no contact or minimal supervised. Will I be allowed to supervise?

It can vary depending on what is being investigated. You haven't specified what you're ex-partner is being investigated for. In my case it was indecent images and it took the police 18 months to investigate and make a charging decision.
it doesn't usually go to family court, the decision on contact is made by children's services following an assessment. You will have to be assessed in terms of whether you are able to safeguard your children. Sometime it is another family member or even a contact centre. I am sure your wishes will be taken into account.
