Social media videos since doing legal searches

It was an eye opener for me. The algorithms they use are scarey. My person says that everything felt 'normal' as they were bombarded with images and suggestions on their feeds (strictly legal but sexual).Almost overnight after the knock, my feed changed from gardening and dogs to those of a sexual nature. After a month of reporting posts, I took myself off Facebook.
Social media companies need to take action. This is a pandemic.

Hi, have you heard of CEOP? If this links to children, I would consider also reporting to them rather than just to Facebook and that way you cover yourself too?
One of my worries is that if you inadvertently search for something legal, and something like that comes up that anyone could then be prosecuted because it would save in your cache?
The Online Harms Bill isn't really working is it?

Hi
Since we had the knock I've tried to search legit websites etc and try gain some understanding what might have happened in relation to my son. In particular images he's reported on snapchat that violated and have worried I could accidentally click on something.
The scary thing that happened to me related to the new feature on Samsung where if you are pressing at bottom of phone then it highlights and starts searching. I was reading a message on the 'stop it now' website and must have pressed a bit too hard and all of a sudden images came at the bottom of my screen. All I could see were the top of heads of children and didn't scroll or click, just quickly cancelled but it is a worry.
