Hey

I've been really down about everything lately and I'm dreading life when we go to trial / after it because I'm convinced it'll be everywhere.

What is life like after for the people who stay with their person ? If you don't mind saying roughly what the charges were and what they got too. Plus if you have little ones?

Some days I just wonder if its all worth it.

Hi,

we're 3 years post sentencing; sexual communication with a minor (attempted as was a decoy), inciting and another charge around causing a minor to view explicit content (can't remember the exact wording). He got a 3 year community order, community service, 5 year sor and SHPO and a small fine, also met the criteria for the horizon course.

It was reported on but no repurcussions except for some friends choosing to walk away and someone once said something to him.

We have a daughter who was born the same week as sentencing so she isn't aware of anything at the moment.

I supervise contact with no further restrictions. We don't live together due to my older children not wanting to have contact although they aren't children anymore so nothing from a safeguarding standpoint just a preference. Life is mostly pretty normal but challenging at times as I'm essentially a single parent. Little one has a fantastic bond with my partner which in some ways hurts because I grieve the life we could have had xxx
