Experience with police
Notifications OFF
I see that some posters had positive experiences with police, which is great. Mine unfortunately wasn't great. They gave me a leaflet for Lucy Faithful, but one of the police officers was really rough and aggressive with me during the knock, shouting at me.
I was in touch with the OIC twice in the immediate days after the knock, she was always cold and standoffish on the phone and unfriendly.
About 4 weeks after the knock I had to call her, because the health visitor pressured me into giving her the address of my holiday location abroad.
All of a sudden she was extremely warm and friendly to me, she completely changed tone.
This was shortly after they sent off my husband's devices for further examinations to an outside agency.
I immediately grew suspicious and I believe she was only was so fake friendly with me, because they probably couldn't find anything during their initial search of my husband's devices.
She probably hoped that I was calling because I had information on my husband and I was planning to drop him in it.
