Still trying to navigate through the early days. Husband has spoken to Health in Mind - the NHS MH team, but they are more concentrated on his anxiety and low self esteem and not the offence itself.

Is there a helpline he can contact just to get things off his chest to do with the offence (one off inadvertent conversation with underage girl), and to help him navigate this awful situation? Most things I have found online don't seem to be suitable for his situation.

He can ring the LFF helpline & they will listen.

You can too. They are used to us unloading our distress & feelings.

We are all here for you.

Thank you EBP - I wasn't sure who to contact to be honest. Just want him to be able to talk to someone about it all and process it.

Try a "stop it now " counsellor through LFF, you will have to pay , but its worth it

Samaritans are also really good and non-judgemental. They might not be able to offer support but will always listen. I found them really helpful when I just needed to talk stuff through before I was able to access talking therapies. They have really good hours and an easy to remember contact number too. 116 123
