Has anyone experience of charges of

'incitement to child pornography somewhere in the world' An internet offence.

What does it mean? More serious than communication?

We're building up to sentencing, but not really sure what we are likely to hear in court.

Was remanded for breach of SHPO ( disputed) & above charges.
Previous sentence for 'making ' IIOC will be spent.
We've got used to him not being at home, but worried about the next sentence.

pm me if not comfortable discussing on this open forum.

Thanks

It doesn't sound like any offence I know of. Is that the exact wording on the charge sheet?

The most common form of incitement is inciting a child to engage in sexual activity. Is it that?

Thankyou for replying. These were the words used in court. His legal team have not been too forthcoming with information, even though he has given permission for us to be consulted. It is sometimes difficult to ask the right questions.

I was trying to determine whether the words 'incitement to child prostitution' is a commonly used term,as opposed to exploitation. Maybe it involves payment. I just hope it does not mean 'instruction'. I don't think he's capable of that. ????

It's most likely to be S.48 of the 2003 sexual offences act, which is 'Causing or inciting child prostitution or pornography in any part of the world', although the wording was changed, so its now referred to as 'Causing or inciting sexual exploitation of a child in any part of the world'.

But it is very serious, depending on the age of the child and degree of involvement, the sentences are in line with those for inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.

Thankyou for this clarification. I dread to think what we will hear in court. Got to wait another 8 weeks!
