So.my person went to court the other day. He has been given an 18 month community order. 120 hours community service and a £1k fine to be paid within 3 months. He will also randomly be getting a visit from the police to check his phone, laptop or any other equipment.

I feel a relief. It's been awful not knowing as I have been away.
He had 15 cat C images sent through the Kik app. He said he never looked at them and ended up representing himself in court the other day.
He spoke to his probation officer afterwards and they said he got the best result he could have asked for.

He has a 5 year SHPO and has to book in with the police when required.
I believe he will be on the SOR if he has a SHPO. I don't think you get a SHPO without being on the SOR. Even if he got a caution he would have got 2 years.
That must be such a relief. It will have been horrible but you're a step further along this horrible process. Hopefully you can start to rebuild and move on a bit.
