How can I get my daughter & grandson home
Notifications OFF
I havnt posted in a few years but I am a mum to a SO who has a year & a half left to go on the register. I have an 18 yo daughter who has an 8 month old son. My son didn't have any restrictions he was allowed around children just not aloud to be alone with a child ...online offence of images .. he has done many courses probation has finished.
Social services done an assessment and said that the risk is high although I knew exactly what they'd say and my daughter would have to move out. My daughter now lives in a hostel with her baby and it is horrendous my heart breaks it's skanky and has vile girls in .. my daughter doesn't belong there nor my grandson .
I didn't want my daughter to have ss involvement and that's why I said it's the best way to go but every day I see my daughter decline even more .
I need to get my family back together and my daughter & grandson home I just don't know what way to go
Any advice appreciated
Thank you

Hi,
It's unlikely that your daughter will be able to avoid ss involvement for moving back home unless your son moves out. Would supervised contact work if they were to both live with you? Could you put a case forward to ss for you and your daughter to supervise at all times?
I can't get my head around how his risk could be viewed as so high when he has such a relatively short time left on SOR. Is it possible to talk to his offender manager? xxx
