Hi,

Could anyone give some information on what happens at the 2nd Interview? Are they charged after this interview? Once charged do they have to tell work? What's the typical timescale between charged and court?

Thanks

Hi,

I think it depends, when my partner had his 2nd interview, shortly after he recieved notification that it was NFA. So i think they can vary both ways.

Hope it goes ok x

Hiya.

So my other halve had a second interview. Very laid back he said. So they told him what they have found and if he had anymore questions. From the second interview to the magistrates was 6 months.

My son was invited to come for a second interview and told it was because they had found evidence of another offence on one of his devices, not child related. He had a solicitor this time (not just the duty one) who told him he should answer 'no comment' to everything. He was out in 10 minutes and that was over a year ago - still not gone to CPS as far as we know. So it seems to be a variety of things all described as a 'second interview.'

Thankyou, it's helpful to hear, the OIC said she felt things were moving 'quickly' now which has made me feel anxious. We're in the south and I have read it's different for different areas. So not sure what to expect. We're doing a divorce at the moment and don't live together but have children so the only information I get is quite sparse.

My OH never had a second interview but was asked to go for an update on the case, the update was them charging him. It was the 12 weeks to magistrates to be indicted and then will be another 5 weeks for plea at crown. I think it varies alot xx

In our case my husband went for second interview and was given charges as they had found more images than initially thought he was at magistrates 4 weeks later for plea hearing and he will be sentenced at magistrates in two weeks time which is 10 weeks after second interview x
