Dear Forum Users,

We wanted to take a moment to remind you that the helpline and chat service are available for anyone who may find some of the content on the forum upsetting or distressing and would like some support. If you feel overwhelmed from reading certain posts or want to talk through something you have read in more detail, please do not hesitate to reach out to us and one of our advisors will be happy to support you and discuss how this is affecting you.

Should you come across a post that you feel needs special attention from our moderators, you can use the anonymous report function available on the top right-hand side of each post, or send us an email at forum@lucyfaithfull.org.uk

Your mental health and emotional wellbeing is important to us, and we want to ensure that the forum continues to be a supportive and helpful space for everyone. We recognise that many of our users come to the forum during a challenging time and we would encourage you to look after yourselves. We would suggest you access the forum when you feel emotionally robust enough to do so, even if this can feel difficult at times.

You might also find it helpful to explore our section for family members and friends, with advice on self-care, which you can find here: https://www.stopitnow.org.uk/concerned-about-the-behaviour-of-another-adult/what-can-i-do-for-me/

The helpline is open Monday to Thursday 9am – 9pm and Friday 9am – 5pm, on 0808 1000 900. Alternatively, you can contact the live chat service. You can learn more about this service and its opening hours here: https://www.stopitnow.org.uk/helpline/live-chat/.

Take care.
