If addresses are given in the media, I am assuming it is usually the road name and town etc. Surely they don't print the house number?
For my OH it was just Road name and town

In our case - full name, age, street (not house no), & town.....

Thank you, I hope it doesn't get to that but our road is very long so I hope vigilantes etc wouldn't be able to find our actual house without number. The anxiety and paranoia is getting unbearable.
My person was told by their Safer Lives contact that only 1/10 cases make it to the media but it feels like more.

The social worker who did my capacity assessment told me in our area it ALWAYS hits the press and that they include name PHOTO from arrest, street name and town. I'm trying not to think about it until/if it gets to charges. They also seemed to delight in reeling off a long list of all the horrible things that other families have had happen to them and their homes when it hits the press/social media. I'm hoping they were exaggerating to get a reaction. Not the "we're here to help and support you through this" experience I was hoping for.
Sorry, I have my fingers crossed for you. It's a shame that some of them have this attitude. The professionalism seems to vary a lot. My OH is working with Safer Lives who are former probation officers and they seem to be very supportive and reassuring.
It will be road name and town - however, as my partner was once registered as part of my address on companies house, that also provided my door number.
I complained to the police, they removed the road name from their original post but had to work super hard to remove it from all other socials where it was shared, and it still took a long while for it to be unliked completely, as google doesn't just 'forget' things like that after a simple removal immediately.
I don't even know why the road name is important to be honest!

For me, it was the mugshot, name, age, crimes, sentence, what he did for a living, road and town. Everyone knew. Absolutely everyone. It was awful especially for my children as it was half term and they had to return to school with everyone knowing. It was reported by the Police Media Department 6 weeks after sentencing.
