my partner is being charged with communication and inciting- apparently from one conversation via KIK with a decoy posing as a 12 year old

his story to me has changed multiple times over the months, he's telling me his intentions where never for gratification, that he is innocent and it was all said as a joke as he knew he was speaking with an adult posing as a child but i'm really struggling to believe him. i need to see it for myself what was said in the conversations between him and the decoy to really decide if i want to stick by him through the rest of this. will this ever be possible??

You can ask him to give you full disclosure with his solicitor. A lot of times the men in these situations aren't ready to face their own shame or our disappointment and other emotions we will have. I haven't seen the conversations as I didn't have full disclosure (I'd ended the relationship and his parents were dealing with the solicitors). I got to a point where I thought I'd just be adding to my own hurt to read it so I'll never know the full extent of the conversation but I know enough xxx

I have seen the full conversation in my OH case. He advised his solicitor to give me full disclosure and we go to all appointments together. I'm am standing by my husband and I still believe he is innocent. He pled not guilty at crown court and we now have a long wait until trial xx

Hi, you would need to get him to agree that you can have access to everything that goes on between the Police and solicitors with his case. If he doesn't agree, well that's your answer I guess. The other way to get a lot of facts is to attend the sentencing hearing. Anyone can attend that and you can send someone in your place, even a volunteer - contact Prisoners Families. X

I'm in a similar boat (IIOC though) and have full disclosure with his solicitor. I'm very aware he could be lying, but he agreed to full disclosure straight away so there's that. As Little Robin said, if he hums & haws about it thats your answer!
