My OH has received his SHPO outlining his restrictions. The restrictions are all about online, there isn't any restrictions about no unsupervised contact with under 18 year olds. Does that mean he can have unsupervised contact now, as he has been sentenced and no longer on bail.
He was hoping to talk to his probation officer today about it as he was supposed to have his first meeting. But that was a complete cock-up as the court hadn't sent over the paperwork so he wasn't processed. He found that out after he arrived there.

Do they have a solicitor to check in with? I would be cautious until clarified with the PO and police case worker on whether they impose unsupervised contact.
I have heard that police can impose restrictions that are not on the SHPO, but worth checking as I'm may be incorrect

Dawn19 I have sent you a private message about this.
@Dawn19,
If there are no contact restrictions on his SHPO, then he can have unsupervised contact. The police or probation officer cannot place additional restrictions not outlined on the SHPO.
The only thing to think about is if Social Services are involved. They may wish to implement no unsupervised contact.
