It is basically to check that they are living where they claim and who else is in the household (even checked the correct toiletries were in the bathroom!)
Apparently some offenders lie about where they are living.

The probation officer has joined the visor on a visit but hasn't visited alone.
Yes visited once was literally in the house 2 minutes then left
Same with my husband vist was only like 2 mins and she went she ali come with someone else all the time but doesn't check the rooms or anything he will ask her if he can delete things of his phone when she is there as he can't do that with out asking them x
