so over the weekend, my OH has now informed me that he did find it sexual talking online the police Sting about how they abused their child Although he says he's not sexually attracted to children and now on top of that my best friend who is the only person I seem to be able to really open up to and talk about this whole situation has just found out she has cancer and has only been given two to three months to live. I feel so lost and upset and now I have to go to work and do a 12 hour shift and all I really want to do is just sit at home and cry for my friend !!!

Hello,

Thank you for posting on the Family and Friends Forum, we understand that it is not easy to post on a forum about these difficult situations. I can see that you have not yet had a reply on your post, hopefully someone else in a similar situation can reply soon with some support.

If you haven't already done so, I would also encourage you to contact our Stop it Now helpline. The helpline is anonymous, confidential and free, on 0808 1000 900. One of our trained advisors will then be able to explore your situation in detail and provide some support and do their best to answer your questions. Our trained advisors deal with similar concerns to yours every day and will be able to talk these through with you and offer you the best advice we can.

I hope this has been helpful.

Take care,

Lucy

Stan cat - I'm not sure how everyone missed seeing your post and I'm sorry if it felt like you were being ignored at such a vulnerable time. My best friend from my teens died just before our son was arrested and I still wish she was around to talk to. You must feel so bereft and add to that how you feel about your OH's admission life must be tough for you right now.

Just wanted to let you know that you have been seen and heard and I send you a big warm hug x

Stan Cat - can I reach out to you as well.
This journey is awful enough then along comes the other things in life we have to deal with, it's all so overwhelming and just not fair at times is it?

loosing a loved one to cancer is very very painful, we lost our lovely mum through it several years ago. I have nothing practical to offer but send you a hug of support and love xxxxx
