Seems to be around 1-2 months
That long? So fed up of this now 4 years and 5 months since the knock
ours was about 4/5 weeks between them
I just want this all over by Christmas hopefully
My son was given his sentencing date, which was 4 weeks later, at his plea hearing.

T2021 I cannot believe how long you have waited, I thought we were bad at nearly 3 years. It's unreal isn't it for the innocent families? If only they would take that time off the SOR seeing as everyone has waited for so long already, it's like a sentence in itself.

it's not even a complicated case. It shouldn't have taken this long. I just hope the judge takes this in consideration with sentencing.

Ours was about a month from plea hearing to sentencing 2.5 years in total x
5 weeks for us from plea to sentencing
My ex had his plea hearing about 6 weeks ago. About a month ago, he was due to have a pre sentencing appointment with probation. This was cancelled and we haven't heard anything since. So far, this has gone on for 3 years. I can't believe it's h going to drag on until next year. Utterly sick of it. X
Hi T2021, completely understand how you are feeling. My OH waited more than 5 years from arrest to sentencing. The wait had a really profound effect on him, even more so as he didn't talk about it. I didn't know about the investigation as it was just before we met - which is a whole other issue - but as much as the past few months have been awful, I feel relieved not to have had this hanging over for so long. You must feel exhausted.
When OH finally got to court, the judge took the length of time he'd been waiting into account, along with other mitigations. His sentence was about as 'good' as we could hope for. It was about a month between plea and sentencing (stayed in magistrates). Thinking of you and hoping you have a similar outcome and can start to move forward with your lives.
