My ex OH looks like he may face time in prison. I was wondering if anyone can share what it will be like for them? I know they will be put on a seperate wing but what can he expect?? We are not together anymore but I worry x Private messages welcome too x

He is likely to be placed on a Vulnerable Prisoner Wing. If he has never been in prison before he is likely to be placed with a trusted prisoner,who will guide him through the system. VP prisoners do not discuss their offences among themselves. Most want to stay quiet & deal with their situation. He can give requested contact details for phone calls& visits. You can set up an email account.
I was so scared for my son,but he has coped well,made some friends & regularly attends the gym. Once you establish contact, the fear subsides.
However I hope he doesn't get a custodial sentence.

i was terrified when my son went to prison. He has served most of his sentence in sex offender training prisons.
i feel has made him flourish and definitely take stock of his life. No doubt held its hardships but he's been ok. Now (at long last) on a treatment plan and by all accounts it's going exceptionally well.
All I can say - it's not as bad as you fear - but let's hope it doesn't happen xxxxx
