At this time of year it can be so difficult for everyone. So I just thought I would ask what is everyone's favourite christmas movie. And when do they intend to watch it?

Finding time for yourself is so important, and this is one of the ways you can do this, this christmas. so pick a movie and make sure you find time to give your mind a rest from reality and watch your favourite film.

Mine is Jingle all the way. And i plan on watching it on christmas eve. With a glass of Baileys.

So next question. Who would like to join me 9pm on the 16th for a virtual xmas drink? You dont have to comment if you dont want to, and I am hoping the ones with little ones, that they are in bed. Get a drink, does not have to alocholic, tea, hot choclate anything. And imagine we are all in the same room. Relax you are with friends.

I hope you comment about your film and join me with a drink to receive a toast on how awesome everyone who is this forum is, xxx

A great idea. I'll join you Webb, my forum friends are always close by in my mind and I am forever grateful of their on going support. So my toast glass will be held high! Together - we can do this season x

As for films - I'm not really a fan of Christmas movies, I recently watched Titanic (yet again) and always love a bit of Kevin Costner in the Bodyguard, which I'm sure will be on !!!!!!

Sounds like a plan! I've missed out on my usual Christmas celebrations (work do, husband's work do) and feel very unfestive. Christmas movie has to be Elf. Drink would be port but I'm not getting a bottle of that this year! Lovely hot chocolate with marshmallows will have to do.

I'll try to remember - not sure what drink but perhaps a rum and coke to remind me of a lovely holidy in Barbados with our daughter and her OH before their son arrived. As for films, I shocked my grandsons by telling them I've never seen Elf or Nativity!! But I watched the Christmas Chronicles with them last night and loved it! Quite fancied Santa actually (Kurt Russell all grizzly and cute) As for me, being a big fan of old Hollywood flms it has to be either Holiday Inn or White Christmas.......

Thank you LFF. Yes no one needs to put their details on here. Or comment that they will join in a drink. It will be enough to know that we are here if they need us. And you are not alone.

I also watch The Holiday every year. But i love christmas movies so i am spolite for choice.

I have not seen Elf either. And there is nothing wrong with the film The Bodyguard. I love that film. Xx

What a great idea. I'll join you on 16th for a virtual drink and to wish you all well.

I'm not a great film watcher but I do love the snowman so will watch that when it's on over Christmas.

We always watch National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation on Christmas Eve.

It wouldn't be Christmas if we didn't watch Home Alone, The Santa Clause trilogy and Nativity!

Not much of a drinker but I do like a hobgoblin or Guinness x

What a lovely idea. I will have a rum and egg nog. I will take a moment to reflect on the last year and the brave forum users who've shared their most vulnerable thoughts and experiences. I cherish you all
