Evening lovlies x

Yesterday's visit as lovely as it was it left me a bit deflated x

Dont get me wrong HC was good as always but he was not in the same mindset as he usually is

My normal posts about him are so good he is doing so well with his degree, his wellbeing

Yet it left me feeling really sad

He ate well

4 crumpets

4 slices of toast

Ham sandwich

Chocolate cake

2 chocolate pastry

So much chocolate bars

Tub of icecream

As a mum I am so incredibly proud of how far he has come, yet inside I feel so helpless at this time of year, we are used to our new normal, yet when the visit was over we had lots of hugs, yet on my drive home I just felt so sad and emotional, emotions eh xx

Time flies and you will see him on the outside again soon.

Well done him for using this time to better himself and getting a degree. You must be so proud of him xx

Upset,

Thanks for sharing the details of your visit and your feelings of sadness. You are not alone. Some days will always be harder than others.

Bless you, no matter how hard we try to keep smiling the pain and sadness rears its ugly head especially at this time of year.......

Time does indeed race by and our boys will be free one day - to hopefully rebuild their life in some way, shape or form...... then we can hopefully smile a bit more.

Love you lots Upset......... chin up x
