Hi everyone, so we have been adjourned. There was a separate charge that CPS had been sat on since last May, another internet offence (not a sexual offence) from exactly the same time period that we were hoping would summount to nothing, but alas our barrister informed us when we arrived at court that CPS have decided to chare him for that too - our solicitor found out 2 weeks ago , but hadn't told us! It's in my OH best interests to have them both heard together because it's the same mitigation and the rehabilitation relates to it. However we now have to wait until 12 March! I told my family that there was evidence missing yesterday hence the adjournment, which is sort of true, but I can't bare revealing more of this awful saga when relations are fractured already!

Social services are with me and the kids tomorrow to start their assessment, but I'm terrified for my boys (10/12). There's nothing to hide and I know they feel safe with my OH but I just didn't want to have to throw them in to this murky adult world. I'm asking the social worker today what my options are, if from now until this is all over they have zero contact with my OH and I only visit his address on my own. Parents are on my back and keep texting 'we're concerned about the impact on the boys' ....errr and I'm not!?

So there we go, the horrendous journey continues. Not seen anything online this morning and my OH did get surprisingly papped outside the courts yesterday. He left on his own, while I went to the loo, stupid in hindsight but you don't think clearly. it looked deserted outside but the reporter had followed him out from court and stood round the corner of the main door with his mobile phone by his side to get the picture.

How frustrating for you all. That must have been really hard emotionally to prepare and now have to wait longer. Good luck with SS and I hope the photo doesn't amount to anything.

My persons case was adjourned today also. It's been nearly 3 years. Now got to wait until February. Today was a complete farce and he almost missed it. He only knew he was supposed to appear last night when his solicitor phoned to tell him! Utterly ridiculous! X
