Hi everyone, my first time posting. On the 14th of Decemeber my dad was arrested for viewing child pornography online. He also has a dependancy/addiction to alcohol, and after all of this has realised he needs help and is willing to go to rehab for his addictions. This was a massive step for him and we had him all booked in to go to a rehab facility, however after we told them about his arrest and the investigation they imediately cancelled and said they would not be able to take him. I rang the helpline to see if they know of any rehab facitilies that would take him, and they suggested that I ask on here.
Does anyone know of any rehab facilities that would take him? Appreciate any help, and thank you in advance!

My OH also has an alcohol dependency. He has been through several detoxes now through the NHS (I'm hoping we've walked that road the last time now). I'm not sure what rehab facilities you had in mind but has your dad approached his GP (if you're in the UK)?
