If we move house so no longer anyone with any connections to us at our current house could they still publish the address?

I don't want to leave pain for someone else if we sell now it seems really wrong.

They will use whatever address he was living at, on the date of the court appearence, because that is the address given to the court. If it is published in the media then they only give out the name of the road, not the house number.

For my person it was the address of where he was living when he went to court that was published in the media and not the address of where he lived when arrested. Just for the record his full name, age and address was published but we didn't encounter any problems from it.

That's interesting do you think it's because he had a different address

I think the addressed published is the address the person is living at when the case is registered at the court.

In some cases it would appear that the police publish details on their social media page and that could include the address he was at on the day of the arrest.

They usually use the arrest address because they want to see if anyone comes forward in the area having been abused in any way by the person arrested. X

What if someone else is living there that's not fair on them

They usually only publish the persons name, street name and town. I've not known the actual house number to be published.

Lifeisover, they "only" publish the street name, not the number so it wouldn't impact anyone who had moved into the property subsequently.

I find this all utterly terrifying tbh. I'm pretty sure my person will likely go to court this year. He hasn't lived with us in over 17 months. I was hoping our address wouldn't be the one listed if they do publish it.

I want this nightmare to be over but I'm wondering if it ever really ends.
