Background my 16yr son is accused of iioc following knock end July 2024. We've no idea what he's accused of exactly. He's been on bail since the police interview so he could stay home despite having a younger brother and could also attend college which he is but no unsupervised access elsewhere to under 16s. He never did anyway apart from at school when we think whatever this relates to took place.

Any way received call from OIC advising his bail which was due to run out for 2nd time next week is being cancelled and so no further restrictions.

This is what our solicitor wanted initially but police were adamant in issuing bail restrictions.

We still have to wait for devices checking but it seems a positive step him no longer having bail conditions. More for fact we worried if we were following them right.

I still think OIC doesn't have a clue because when I mentioned again my son had reported images to snapchat that were accepted to violate, he acted like this was first time I was telling him this info to which I have evidence of. When he's supposed to have recorded it on file back in August even though he didn't want to see my evidence.

Hi, when my son, 19 at the time, received a visit from the police in June 2022 it was to investigate IIOC.

He was taken to the police station and with his phone seized he was interviewed and released under investigation.

There were no conditions on him at this point. He was questioned again in January 2023 and again released. No bail conditions.

Even at the point Charges were finalised there were still no bail conditions imposed. Following the first appearance at the magistrates and each visit to the Crown there have been no conditions in place.

Only following his guilty plea is he now to meet the codintions of the register.

Nearly three years on we have a further rearranged hearing for sentencing in March.

I hope you get the result you and you son are looking for xx
