Hi all,
has anyone had experience in the south east of England especially around Luton with beds police.
my OH was arrested 6 weeks ago and bail return date is 4th march.
But looking at the forum this will be extended a couple of times but looking for any ideas from anyone else as struggling with family and short term living arrangements for him.

Hi, not sure what you're asking exactly but I'm in the South East. My person is due in court for sentencing in a few weeks time. That will be 3 years since his arrest.

Hi, knock 2020. Just coming to sentencing in a few weeks time . First offence. Only one court delay of 5 weeks the rest of the time it's taken is down to the police.
it's very rare i see on here these things concluded before at least 2 years. X

hi I'm in the south-west and we are still waiting for the devices to be checked 12 months on and for him to be recalled for further interviews and officially charged

That's really quick
Hi we are South East but different force. Ours will be 3 years by the time it goes to court but that is because my person pled Not Guilty so we have a long wait for trial to start.
Bub84, my person is in the South East. He pleaded guilty immediately. It'll be 3 years when it goes to court for sentencing in a few weeks time.
LittleRobin... Oh my goodness I would have thought a guilty plea would have finished alot quicker, that's awful. It's so hard having this hanging over us all for so long. It's just a waiting game for us now until trial starts in August 2026 and even then it's a warned list and not a set date so could be even longer xx
Bub84, it's all horrendous. We're at Crown Court in just over 2 weeks time. I can barely function because I'm terrified of the press and social media. This is our second time round and first time it was on social media and in the press. I was threatened with eviction. I just can't go through all that again, especially as I have done nothing wrong. X
