Hey huns,
I have a question surrounding barristers and probation.
does everyone get a defence barrister in crown court even if they have not instructed a solicitor?
also with probation, how long before your case is heard do you get a probation visit or meeting where a PSR is completed - thanks in advance.
my family has been ripped up because of my OH stupid addiction.

Hi, we employed a local firm of solicitors to support my son. He had a solicitor attend magistrates court with him and a more senior solicitor from the same firm who had obtained the right to represent clients in the Crown Court attend crown court with him so there was no Barrister.
The PSR was done by probation about a week before the crown court hearing.
