We are on the countdown to sentencing and although planning for the worst just in case. One of the things we've had to do is list my address as a potential residence that he would stay in. The police have said that someone will come do a risk assessment. Does anyone know what this will look like or involve? I'm seriously stressed with everything ????

The police will mainly be concerned with children, either living in, or visiting the property. If you do happen to live very near to a school or another place where there are lots of children, they might raise concerns about that too.

Depending on what restrictions he has, they will probably insist on no unsupervised contact with children and if other peoples children visit on a regular basis they may insist on you disclosing his conviction to the parents.

Think about how you might manage this in future and come up with a plan that you can present to the police. If they know you have considered all the risks, they will be less likely to make a fuss.
