Has anyone successfully speeded the process up if their person was a young person? I'm starting to worry that the delays will mean our person turns 18 before anything happens.
I know it would be far better to go through the youth system (for many reasons) but I'm not sure if there's anything that can be done to make sure that happens or even to improve the chances of it happening?

When does your young person turn 18? How long have you waited so far? Do you know if the case has been referred to the CPS yet?
Is the OIC aware of your concerns around your young person turning 18? Have you also spoken to your solicitor about this worry?
