Triggers everywhere :(

Morning all.
I'm suddenly feeling so overwhelmed by triggers everywhere. There's been a (probable hoax) violent threat against schools in my local area, so I went to our local news website to try and find out more. I haven't been on there since the knock, out of fear, and the main page prominently featured several stories of jailed 'P words'. The sensationalist descriptions of their offences made me realise how my person's will be portrayed. I can't bear the thought, and how it'll reflect on me/my children.
my legs have gone to jelly and my throat feels like it's in a vice.
I know I can't remember the names and faces of any of the offenders in the articles, but I bet if they were dads from school I would. And that's what my person will be to all the local people.

This is absolutely my biggest fear. First time round the case was reported on social media and the press. I'm about to go through it all again next week when my ex is sentenced for reoffending. I'm paralysed by fear.

Yes, the triggers don't help do they? I'm obviously more sensitive now but I seem to spot them everywhere.

This was one of my worries too,about it getting out in the public eye via social media etc but do they post about every offender of this nature,I doubt it. My ex husband is awaiting a court hearing and I have no clue which way it'll go. We have a daughter together and this whole time has just been an emotional rollercoaster of waiting to find out what happens in court.
