My person messaged OIC asking for any updates and about bail coming up as one more extension of bail and it will be a year. OIC didn't reply to any of the questions, only "contact your solicitor". Now I'm worried, any idea why they would say that?

Honestly, you would be better off either way talking to a solicitor. We have been mislead and lied to by police after a year of this. Finally spoke to the solicitor who was able to give clear answers and facts and revealed that the police have been making up all sorts of rubbish about the case. Solicitors are there to help. If I've learnt anything from this, it's that the police are corrupt and will do things they're not supposed to because they get away with it. Do not trust the police with anything!

Oh my god that's terrible! Hope it's okay to ask, did you have the duty solicitor or your own?

Because they can't be bothered and will say anything to get you off their back or keep you quiet. X
