SOR conditions
Notifications OFF
My person will be placed on the SOR. This may be for 5 years or 10 years depending on the other punishment. His bail conditions state he must stay at this property. I know bail will be dropped once his plea etc goes through. Question is, will he be allowed to stay here when on the register? One child is additional support needs and change causes a lot of anxiety and emotional distress for them. My person is also my unofficial carer.
I hate he's being punished for something he didn't ask for or go looking for (this has been proven in the cyber report) but i understand it has to happen

Hi,
the sor is a notification process rather than rules around where he can or cannot go or live. Being on the sor doesn't automatically mean that someone can't live with children. It will be down to his solicitor to question any SHPO put forward by the cps. For an online offence it typically should not include a no contact with children clause but some will just put forward as standard. His solicitor should ensure any SHPO is proportionate to the offence. In this case as he hasn't actively asked for or sought these images I would question if any SHPO is proportionate but definitely should only have internet restrictions on if they put the case forward for one xxx

His lawyer seems to think there will be a lot of restrictions and that most of the bail conditions will still stand. It's very confusing
