Breach of shpo

So I have been with my partner for over a year he has recently just told me about his shpo order he told he has a police woman come out every 6 months this last time he told her about me wich is why he had to disclose to me he is on the register for 5 years wich ends in January I have a 15 year old child wich he has met once as I didn't want to rush into him meetin my kid yet but because he didn't disclose this to the police woman he now has to go for an interview does anyone know what an happen will he go to prison? I'm sooo stressed and broken hearted

If the police knew he was in a relationship, I would have expected them to ask if the other person has children. If he was asked and he told a lie that would be a problem.

But it only becomes a breach of the SHPO if the order says he must disclose details of any new relationship, or if the SHPO says he is not allowed contact with under 18s. Apart from that, the only other thing are the conditions of the SOR, which state he must notify police if he spends 12 hours or more in a property where there is a child.

Also, it is common practice for the police and social services to contact you and check your circumstances when a relationship is declared. Have they done so and is that how they found out you have a child?
