Hi I wonder if anyone one can help me so my Housman dis on the register for 10 years every year he needs to notify but when his bank card expires he needs to also let them know she said he notification date has changed how does that work so ever time he updates something it changes .
Hi, yes that's correct. The yearly renewal date resets each time they update their information on the register.
Yes, that's correct every time you re-register something whether it's a bank card or a new bank account or a new phone car whatever it resets The yearly registration date
Yes my oh was on register for 1 year started the February he got a new bank card in the June so he literally never had to sign again as his year was up due to resetting the date, I struggled to get my head around it I needed it in writing from our liaison officer
Thank you for the reply just do not want him to be in trouble it's just confusing to be honest .
Our officer told use that the date doesn't change when you report, you still have to do your annual check in form. We had done a holiday form the month of check in and I emailed her, just to check as we would be away on the annual date. She told use it wouldn't count and to go back and do the check in. I'm not sure she is 100% correct on this, however we done it, made life easier.
Our solicitor advised us that even if you do report a holiday, bank card, always do your annual check in. It then stops dates changing, most people get called back to court because the dates change and they lose track where his words. We do this to keep the consistancy. In the first year my son had 2 holidays, bank card but still done the annual check in too.
