Potential Sentencing

Hi all,
My person has just had their first hearing, he's been very mute on the information he's shared with us. However I have managed to gather a bit from him today.
Hes facing 6 charges, for making and distributing each of the 3 categories. He's now been told that he will need to go to Crown Court due to the nature of the charges.
I'm shocked at the amount that has been found, he's advised it's close to 300 Cat As, 320 Cat Bs and almost 600 Cat Cs, with 25, 11 and 8 being shared respectively.
Does anyone have any experience on sentencing for a case similar to this?

The numbers really don't make a lot of difference to the outcome. A suspended sentence, or a community order is most likely for image offences nowadays.
