Has anyone's person actually been truthful when they say they have no idea where the images have come from and that was proven by forensics? If so, any idea how the images could have come onto the devices in the first place? Virus? And what outcome was given?

I don't know if I'm just clutching at straws but my person has pleaded his innocence from day 1 but a lot of what I have read on here is that they lie.

my family member was proven never searched for pr downloaded it was a link sent to him on a chat , he deleted it when he opened it and realised it contained some images that were PSUEDO images but was still found guilty of possession because he also disnt report it he was just young and thought it would go away as he deleted it and disnt realise what else the file contained or how many pics in total , he was charged with possession not with searching or sharing or downloading or anything as he wasn't, the media failed to write though even though they were at court listening to the verdict and had all that information to hand , they published their story minus that information and let the witch hunt begin ..

Mine said he had downloaded porn and these images were mixed up in them. But other things came out which made me think that was a load of bullshit.

Watching porn whilst I was asleep in the next room? How disrespectful is that? Then coming to bed with me. Makes me feel sick. I expect he was thinking of what he had seen online when we had sex. To me that's not a normal healthy relationship

I'm better off without him.

One of the main reasons I divorced my ex was that I couldn't wrap my head around the fact that he'd been attracted to children for the entirety of our 30 year relationship. The thought of what he was thinking of when he had sex with me has blown my mind and I'm still suffering 8 years on. X

Hi Being Truthful. This is my first pay on the forum however I have been a reader of it for quite a while now. I couldn't just read your post and not reply with our situation, as it is a bit different from others.

My person was charged with 'making of', however he swore that he had never seen the images. We waited the whole time it took to get to trial, got ourselves in a lot of debt for a good solicitor, but it was all worth it as my person was acquitted of all charges.

What isn't often said on the forum is that 'making' of doesnt mean the accidental downloading of anything- there has to be some extent of intent shown behind it. In my person's case, it was all on his cache, with no evidence of files or anything like that of it on his devices. The judge made it clear that such images are capable of being downloaded onto a device without the person clicking on them or even knowing its happening. If you go onto a website where they are, this doesn't have to be a known 'dark' website, it can happen on more websites than you like to think, in the background, then they are instantly downloaded onto your device. Again, I reiterate that this can happen without the person viewing them, of without them even having the knowledge of it happening.

In some cases I have seen that the prosecution can say that searching for p... have a negative affect on how these charges are seen, however this wasn't the case for us. Our judge even said that searches for 'teen' don't always indicate the charges to be true as teen can mean 18, 19, so therefore legal. It's not ideal by far, but on its own doesn't always prove the charges to be true. I know it does all depend on the judge that yo get though, to the outlook they have.

My story is different to a lot on the forum, however I just wanted to let you know that it could be possible that your person is telling the truth and that if this is the case then it is possible there can be light at the end of the journey.

Stay strong. X
