2 years scotland

It's been 2 years since the knock, and 2 years since I joined this page, a little update for you u all. My husband at the time(I'm now divorced) has now got his first plea hearing . Its taken 2 years. His case has been passed to the high court. I have been told that his case will most likely be finished by this time next year.(so any 1 in scotland waiting this seems to be the time line). I don't know the majority of his charges because he didn't let the oic disclose. But I did get to be inform on the 14 charges he's has on my daughter. It seems to be a pretty big case. But my question is he's been on bail for the past 2 year and stayed in his bail conditions will this go towards him in court. I'm hoping that he does the right thing and pleed guilty. But the court people said most cases like this the accused pleeds not guilty untill last minute. I still have questions un answered. I will never know the full extent of this . I have found the whole process rather slow . And no where to turn.

I am not quite sure what you are asking, but the fact that someone is on bail for 2 years has no impact on the court proceedings. It is not taken into account when sentencing for example.
Hi I just wanted to say hello from Scotland also.
I got the knock just over a month ago and it's seemed like a lifetime. I finally got the guts to explain to my daughter last night that her dad will not be coming home and that we have officially split now due to his crimes preventing his return or us being able to stay together anymore.
I've been wondering how long it all takes. He was arrested by the NCA and evidence on his phone included having taken explicit images of our daughter while asleep.
It's so hard for them to understand why they were just gone one day and can't come back.
