NFA’d!!

So 8 months 5 days and about 8 hours after the knock (July 20) I received a text from the OIC saying no indecent images of children were found on any of my partners devices. Nothing of concern so case closed and no further action!!
wanted to post as I know in the early days I scoured this forum for positive outcomes where other peoples person hadn't broken the law and there was very few.
for background, we had 4 officers attend with a search warrant for our house & his car - plain clothed, came two then another two shortly after.
I was at work as I work for our local force so they purposely did it whilst I was out the house, then came and pulled me at work and told me!
Our whole world came crashing down on what sounded to me like very circumstantial intelligence.
my partner was never arrested and never interviewed in any way!
Our devices were all sent for downloading and viewed, we got most of my stuff back in September, then everything except his work laptop back in December. The work laptop refused to download so got sent to the experts but that came back clear this week also!!
the whole experience has been traumatic and my OH lost his job due to this (via settlement agreement), he was honest as he worked from home and ofc they had taken his work laptop.
the last 8 months have been awful with waiting and not knowing. From day 1 I asked my partner to be 100% honest with me and said as long as I knew EVERYTHING I would support him. Which I have. He was honest as far as I know and from day one protested he hadn't done anything illegal.
So now, just like that, we move on with our lives and I am so grateful for that. I know it's not often the outcome and I have so much love and respect for those of you going through this with other outcomes, but I just wanted to post so that people know sometimes, our person is telling the truth.
we have work to do on our relationship as we think we know how he got so close to that line, which isn't good, but we can work on that!
