My person's lawyer called today and he as a preliminary court date at the sheriff court on Tuesday morning. His lawyer said "prepare for the worst and hope for the best. Pack a bag for a few days just in case". He also states that the 4 weeks from this appearance on Tuesday will be used for background checks and then it will be another court date.

I'm so sorry you're stuck in this mess. I know the waiting feels like agony and endless. Just get through one minute at a time. Anything longer is too much at the moment. Do you have support around you?
