Home Detention Curfew (tag)
Notifications OFF
I read a post on here about the above not being available for sex offenders, but I can't find it now.
my husband gig his sentencing papers today which states his release at the 50% mark, but it Aldo states a date when he would become eligible for early release under HDC. I just wondered if anyone else's other half had the same as everything I have read I indicates that sexual offenders don't qualify, but if Trent is the case, why say it on his paperwork?

Just looked at the government document about early release on tag and your correct it does state any conviction for a sex offence which includes notification requirements is statutorily exempt from tagged curfew.
Perhaps the date is automatically calculated and included on paperwork even if the person isn't eligible for such release.

my OH the first time he offended he was given a two year sentence but released after 12 months he did have to however report to probation I think it was once a week for the next 12 months and obviously he had to keep all his paperwork, bankcard and everything updated with the police
Sex offenders are exempt from early release. X
