Hi can anyone help?
My ex is on a shpo. He has an app on hes phone that clears cache data from apps. An officer went to hes today and took the phone because of it. It also has a private browser on it. He had the app on the phone before he was put on the register and was told not to delete any apps so he left it in there and now he is being investigated to see if it breaches hes shpo whe he was told not to delete anything. Just wondered if anyone was tech savvy enough to know what clearing cache actually means its app cache? No search history or anything has been cleared and the private browser hasn't been used it's part of the app. They will clearly see that but the confusion is around the cache data being cleared.
I know it's a wierd post but if anyone has any idea I would appreciate it.
Thanks

Hello.
Cache data is files that are saved on a device (most of the time automatically) to help websites and apps load quicker the next time you visit or use them. The point of it, therefore, isn't anything underhand - it's simply to save time and speed things up.
Hopefully whoever is investigating this will understand.
I hope this helps.
