We were told there was no evidence and it was over then they said it wasn't, then they said there was now chat logs to read and it's gone on and on , they say there has been greater risk cases and this case is little risk as they haven't exposed anything so because there has been nothing you get pushed to the back of the pile - how can that be fair - I am struggling feel so alone - I have been apart from my partner since the knock due to my career at the time I was instructed I was to have no contact and then my family - I just don't know if I can cope with any more days weeks months of feeling like it's a cliff edge waiting to drop xx sorry feeling so low

I absolutely know what you're saying.

My now ex was arrested 8 years ago. Sent to prison for IIOC, first offence. I lost everything, literally.

He reoffended 3 years ago. Its taken this long to get to sentencing but it's been adjourned 4 times so far. Each time it's adjourned the evening before and the adjournment has nothing to do with the case.

My life is on hold. Last time, it went accross social media and in the press. Because of that, I'm paralysed by fear in case it happens again - which it will.

so, I hear you, and I wish you all the very best.

Skip and LittleRobin! Oh how I feel and totally understand your pain . The exhausted way it makes us feel , the numbness, despair and emptiness can only be understood by others who have shared those same feelings.

It is cruel beyond belief ! I wonder how many plead guilty to just get it over and done with and hope for a reduction in sentence , that's not fair either especially considering the long term consequences.

LittleRobin, I too dread the media and all the encircling vultures. We can only hope that we get some strength to see it through - and this too will pass. We just have to pick up the pieces of whatever is left and try and rebuild
