I hope many of you will be able to take full advantage of this lovely weather this weekend. Week has been uneventful, just working and my line dancing.

Had my covid booster last night so nursing a sore arm today, so cannot go to the gym. Hoping it will be ok to take my furbaby for walk tomorrow. She has been in season so has not gone for a run for a while, though she enjoys running around the garden. Nothing like a furbaby to keep you grounded.

Hope everyone has a good week. Xx

I'm loving this sunny weather. I'm not a gardener but have spent the last 2 afternoons digging up weeds and generally tidying up the garden and found I don't dislike gardening as much as I thought I did.

Tomorrow I'll be taking 2 of the Grandchildren on an Easter egg hunt at a local castle and Sunday I'll be catching up on work emails before returning to work on Monday after having 17 days off.

I hope the good weather continues and that you all manage to find some time to enjoy it over the weekend.

Hi everyone. I've been very busy all week working all the hours preparing for an event I'm trading at. My husband has been great as always, helping with the cooking while I'm working, and helping getting all of my stall stuff sorted. He's helped set up today too. But, being practical has always been his strongest attribute so this isn't anything new, or him turning a new page. He usually works at them with me too, but my best friend has stepped in to help tomorrow, which will be the busiest day. He's exhausted and suffering with awful insomnia and anxiety (funny that - that's what happens when you get arrested for looking at horrendous things on the internet...!). It'll be sad to not have him there, as we normally have a good time together, but also a relief that he's just there for 1 day. I'm also dreading it all being over. I've spent the last month preparing, so I've been able to stick my head in the sand. Now it's almost over, I'll have to face it all again.

Anyway, wishing you all a good weekend, and a better headspace. Enjoy the sun! Xx

Hi, I'm feeling much better. Able to eat & function now, but have to take sleeping pills to sleep. Some days I feel positive & some negative, so some progress x

As for me dreaded spring/summer cold but hopefully fighting if off now.

yes weather has been amazing for this time of year - the blossoms and spring colours are breathtaking- how I love it and it's all for free. I see mothers walking out with their kiddies on their phones and want to yell at them - open your bloody eyes, point out the seasons beauty and enjoy it..... is Facebook so wonderful!!!!!!

Had a few humerus chats on the phone with my son, thank goodness he hasn't lost that sense of humour it's so infectious. He's loving his new 'English' sessions and already looking to move up a grade. Plus his gardening - more active than me and he's in prison. It's certainly the key to surviving prison, keep active.....

Must admit ladies a couple of posts on forum this week have caused me discomfort and although I know these posts are reality - I feel we strongly have to reflect on how our comments can so easily deflate a persons mood, especially when discussing the future. We all need to face the future with a glimmer of hope, dont we, its so so important, even in our darkest days we need to see a speck of light.

Anyway enjoy the weather, away with the Baileys and out with a sparking white wine xxxx

A weeks annual leave for me this week and it's been a mixed bag, oh didn't want to go with daughter and I yesterday as it was a shopping day I said it was his choice then got a call from him saying he wished he had come and he feels very low so trip cut short and train home for daughter and I, daughter said she is fed up jumping to him and feels I should be standing up for myself more I should be doing things for me not always everyone else, today oh and I are heading out somewhere I feel like we need to have a good chat and he needs to listen, times i feel we talk too much but I need to say it as bottling up is not good for me and he needs to hear it

I feel like my whole life if falling apart again this week.

My job is awful.

My daughter lost her job.

We can't afford to make plans or do anything fun as we need to hold onto every penny.

I'm trying to find some positivity but I keep thinking what awful thing is going to happen next.

Pottering in the garden Starr is a great hobby - it's like walking a fur baby - you can just switch off for a while. Good luck with the veg and keep on watering!
