Magistrates next week…

Hi all,
My OH has his date for magistrates plea hearing next week. He has been charged with possession of the following:
11 x Cat A
13 x Cat B
1088 x Cat C
I'm obviously really anxious and solicitor has said it will go to Crown. It's his first offence. Does anyone have any experience of sentencing for similar numbers / offence? Hoping it's just a community order but the anxiety over possible prison sentence is awful as I know he'll massively struggle and if that happens I have no idea what he'll tell work as he has to give a few months notice of resignation.

A suspended sentence or community order are the most likely outcomes. But he should pack a prison bag anyway, when he goes for sentencing, because it all depends on the judge.
Hi, My person was charged and sentenced, receiving a community order.
Possesion of around 20 images, a number moving, and around 150 downloaded, again some moving. A mix of A, B and C.
The agrivating factors were detailed by the prosecution on the day of sentencing. Matters such as the ages of those in the images and any distress etc The mitigation put forward by your person, through their solicitor will impact any sentence received.
